Okay, so here's my theory (albeit a crap nonpoet's theory): Your poetry is due in over a month, right? I think you need to put it aside and not look at it for a few days. Hey, maybe even go see a movie or a play with your husband! ;-)

Do you ever wonder if you overthink things?

Hope you're taking good care of yourself.
I'm visiting your blog today with a specific purpose in mind.
Sometimes when I go through pain the writer within me wakes up and starts working overtime. THat's happening to me this week. I am wondering if you'd act as a sounding board for some of the stuff I write? You can say no. I have no idea where you are in your life or how badly you need to get out and feel the sun's rays on your shoulders as you walk to the park with your family.
So do you have interest and time in reading some of my creations?
you can respond to me via email if you like.
I'd be looking for heart responses as well as questions that point me towards expressing myself even more accurately.
Feel free to say no.

Poetry totally defeats me. I wrote one crappy poem in college (many accolades by my professor who was just glad to see someone putting herself out there) and then declared myself done with the genre.

And my brain is still broken in reference to your challenge. I'm still trying but *man*...I got nothin'.
